Back in 2012, things in Mystic Falls were as hectic as ever. After everything the people have all gone through in that town, it ended with Elena getting turned into a vampire. Alaric died and finally moved onto the peaceful side and everything was starting to calm down due tot he fact that Klaus couldn’t threaten Elena anymore. While everyone thought Klaus was dead and that he lied about being the source of mostly everyone’s bloodline, he really wasn’t. Due to Bonnie’s magic, he was stuck in Tyler’s body. He stayed hidden for a while but then finally came out of the shadows. Klaus was furious about his sister causing Elena’s death, so he stayed around in Tyler’s body for a while and caused some drama. He finally asked Bonnie to do her witchy stuff and place him back in his body.

Klaus left town once Tyler received his real self back without a trace so the only thing people had to concentrate on was Elena’s new vampire ways. A year passed and everyone stayed in Mystic Falls. Damon and Stefan tried to rekindle their relationship, but it was hard due to the fact that Elena chose Stefan. Of course Elena took on the bunny diet which made Damon more angry because he knew she would turn out like Stefan. Well that’s exactly what happened. One night she was taking a walk, she witnessed someone getting beat up. The smell of blood surrounded her and she couldn’t help but attack the two . Elena went out of control and after just one night, she chose to run as far as she could. No one knew what happened to her.

It is now 2102. Eighty nine years have passed and vampires are still roaming the world. Elena continued to stay on the run for about fifty, until Caroline bumped into her on the streets in a random state. Elena was running around as a ripper all that time, but Caroline chose to help her. It took almost two years for her to finally control her blood lust but it worked. Caroline and Elena chose to move back to Mystic a year ago and they disguised themselves as high school students. Stefan and Damon stuck by eachother all this time and for some reason, something told them to go back to Mystic. Klaus, Elijah, Kol and Rebekah also stuck by eachother, but once Klaus discovered that Caroline was back in Mystic, he figured he’d return and win her heart again.

It seems as if it’s just a full on reunion for the past residents of Mystic Falls. What will happen now? Only you can find that out.
